Retail queue management

Retail queue management.
A clear turn at the counter.

From supermarket deli counters to retail service desks, customers need to know how to join and when they will be served. QRight offers ticketing, number calling and queue management options for Australian retail businesses.

Ticketing for deli and butcher counters

Customers take a ticket and follow the number shown on the display. A self-service kiosk can offer service selection where the counter handles different requests. The FoodWorks installation shows a QRight ticket kiosk and wall-mounted calling displays at the butcher and deli counter.

Choose simple calling or a managed queue

A number-calling kit combines wireless calling controls with a three-digit LED display and either a manual ticket dispenser or a push-button thermal printer. A full queue management system is more suitable when staff need separate service queues, transfers, priorities or operational reporting.

Make collections easier to follow

Smart Collect combines a wireless calling keypad and an HD media player connected to an HDMI display. It suits customer collection points where a clear number call tells the customer to return. Confirm the required calling range, display layout and counter arrangement with our team.

Fit the system around the counter

Plan where customers collect tickets, how they see the calling display and how staff operate the controls while serving. Consider peak demand, the number of counters and whether service categories need separate queues. QRight helps select and configure hardware and software, with installation arranged across Australia.

PLANNING YOUR PROJECT

Your questions, answered.

What is the difference between a ticket dispenser and a kiosk?+

A manual dispenser provides a numbered ticket. A touchscreen kiosk can offer service choices and print a ticket into a configured queue. The right option depends on how much service routing and queue control your counter needs.

Is a full queue management system necessary for a small counter?+

Not always. A number-calling kit may meet a straightforward take-a-number requirement. Discuss a full system if you need multiple services, queue transfers or reporting.

Can calling information appear alongside branded content?+

Smart Collect uses an HDMI display with a configured media-player layout. Tell us what ticket information and content you need so we can confirm the suitable display solution.
