Government queue management
Government queue management.
A clear welcome.
Council offices and public service centres handle visitors with different questions, appointments and support needs. QRight connects service selection, customer calling and queue visibility in a workflow designed around your team.
Choose kiosk or concierge-led arrival
A kiosk lets visitors select a service and take a ticket. A concierge-led workflow starts with a conversation, allowing staff to identify the request and create the ticket. The Ipswich City Council example uses a staff-move-to-customer model, with the customer location recorded so staff know where to attend.
Manage services, transfers and priorities
Different requests may need different specialists. Configure service categories, ticket transfers and priorities around the centre’s procedures. A clear handover helps staff guide visitors through an enquiry that needs more than one service team.
Give visitors a choice of waiting experience
Printed tickets and waiting-area displays suit counter-based service. QRight Cloud can add mobile queue status and optional SMS updates. The Perth and Canberra passport office project shows a virtual queue workflow with mobile information and ticket-to-counter calling.
Plan a rollout across offices
Start by agreeing service categories, staff roles, kiosk locations and reporting needs for each office. Housing SA expanded from an initial kiosk to a cloud rollout across eight metropolitan offices. Multi-location scope, staff access and any integrations should be agreed before implementation.
